Service Terms & Refund Policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Every lead tracked. Plain-numbers reporting every week. Weekly billing with no lock-in contracts. That is how we operate.

How We Work

Before any campaign goes live, we agree on the metrics we control, qualified lead volume and cost per lead, defined in writing in your service agreement. A qualified lead is a genuine enquiry from your target service area through the tracked channel; spam, duplicates and out-of-area enquiries are not counted. Every lead is tracked from first click to booked job, and you receive a plain-numbers report every week covering leads generated, cost per lead and conversions. Revenue and return on ad spend are reported but depend on your pricing, close rate and follow-up, so they remain your outcomes to convert.

Billing

Ongoing services are billed weekly in advance. One-time setup fees and website project payments are invoiced as set out in your service agreement. All prices exclude GST unless stated otherwise. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to Google or Meta and is separate from our management fees.

Review Periods

Campaign performance is reviewed with you over a minimum 30-day period for Meta Ads and a minimum 90-day period for SEO, because campaigns require time to optimise, collect data and reach statistical significance. At each review either party may adjust or end the engagement.

Client Obligations

Campaign performance depends on both sides. Clients agree to maintain the agreed minimum advertising budget throughout the campaign period, respond to leads generated by our campaigns within a reasonable timeframe, provide timely access to accounts, assets and information we need, and discuss material changes to landing pages, pricing, service offerings or business operations before making them. We will always communicate openly if we believe client-side factors are impacting performance.

Setup Fees

Setup fees cover the initial research, strategy, account configuration and creative development required to launch your campaigns. Because this work begins immediately upon engagement, setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

If you cancel before any work has started, your setup fee will be refunded in full.

Website Projects

Website design and development projects follow a milestone-based structure. Each stage requires client approval before progressing to the next. Refunds for website projects are available for any stage of work not yet commenced. Completed and approved stages are non-refundable as the deliverables have been accepted.

Cancellation

All ongoing services operate with no lock-in contracts. You can cancel at any time by providing 14 days written notice to kevin@digitalcartel.au. Fees already paid for the current billing period are honoured through to the end of that period, and any weeks not yet commenced after the notice period are not charged.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for purpose.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our services or a refund decision, contact us directly. We are committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly. If we cannot reach a resolution, you may seek recourse through the relevant consumer protection body in your state or territory.
